Today I wasted some time creating an avatar to use with gravatar. Gravatar is a free service that lets you set up global avatars to use when ever you post with an email address that you have listed with them. The avatar you have listed on gravatar will automatically show up when you post on gravatar enabled blogs. This task was not importand but I needed a break for other projects that getting a bit boring.

What in the world is a gravatar?
Pretty much its another task for you to waste alot of time with because we all have big egos.

Actually a gravatar is an avatar that is globally recognized on most blogs. It will appear next to your name when you post comments on any gravatar enabled sites, most blogs are enabled.

Using a global avatar may be a good way to brand your website and name. Readers may become familiar with your image avatar and read your comments more often when scanning posts.

How can you get and use gravatar?
Sign up for a gravatar.com account, it’s FREE.
