Today I was trying to update and edit the deindexed checker page. While watching the Jets football game and typing away at the same time I must have inadvertenly deleted the page. I had a back up already, YES! so all is well and I can continue. I still flipped out thinking that I had wasted the afternoon. At one point the few posts I had written already and pages created were also gone, I panicked, ate dinner and calmed down. I ran a fix on the database and all the work came back.
